New Year ๐ŸŽ‰ New goal setting?!

I set up Feed My Creative on the 1st January 2016. Every year, on my anniversary, I start a fresh new notebook.
I look back at my very first notebook to reflect on what I originally envisioned FMC to be, what I wanted to achieve, and what the future could look like. From there, I start planning, taking it three months at a time, and continue in that way for the rest of the year.

However, last year I decided to do something a little different. Instead of starting from the beginning, I flipped ahead about 20 pages and wrote myself a question:
Is a masterโ€™s still an option? Who? What? Where? When?
Then, I returned to the start of the book to continue as usual.

When I came back to that page, I had to answer my own question. I spent the day researching which university had the best programs for me, open days, and all the other details.

Iโ€™ve continued this process through about half the notebook (which, Iโ€™ll admit, is quite a thick book). So now, whenever I come across these big questions, I know I need to address them.

This year, on the first of January, I did something different again. Instead of starting a fresh book, I decided there were still things to be done. I didnโ€™t want to leave a book unfinished. As a result, Iโ€™m still working in the same notebook, still manifesting what I need to do and what I want to achieve.

Moral of the story: Write it into existence. Say it out loud. Things may not happen right away, but you have to believe it and take steps to make it happen.

I am responsible for my own personal and professional development, and in September 2024, I started my (part-time) MA in Craft at Manchester Metropolitan University.

I wrote it into existence and made it happen!
